General Community

Yes! We offer pet-friendly apartments in Tempe, AZ designed with your four-legged companions in mind. Residents can enjoy abundant natural areas perfect for walks, playtime, and fresh air.

Sono Tempe offers studio, 1 & 2-bedroom apartments in Alameda Tempe, AZ ranging between 375 to 881 square feet in size. Each home features in-home air conditioning for added convenience, along with thoughtfully designed interiors that include spacious eat-in kitchens and walk-in closets.

Tours & Applications

Tours are available in person.

Applications can be completed online or by submitting a paper application in the leasing office.

Applicants must provide proof of income showing at least 2.5 times the base rent, along with one month of paystubs and a valid government-issued ID.

Renter’s insurance is required for all residents.

Sono Tempe does not participate in these programs at this time.

Yes. Move-in and application fees are required. Contact our leasing office to learn more.

No. Move-in assistance services are not available.

Lease terms ranging from 6 to 14 months are available.

Maintenance requests can be submitted online through the resident portal.

Maintenance requests are addressed as quickly as possible. Emergency requests are typically responded to the same day, while non-emergency requests are generally completed within 1 to 3 business days, depending on the nature of the repair.

Community Lifestyle

Yes. Monthly resident events are offered.

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Noise concerns can be reported to the leasing office during business hours or to courtesy patrol after hours.

The closest airport to Sono Tempe is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, located approximately 10–15 minutes away.

Sono Tempe Apartments is ideally located in the Alameda area of Tempe with convenient access to a wide range of dining, shopping, and outdoor attractions. Residents are just minutes from Tempe Marketplace and Arizona Mills, offering a variety of retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment options. The nearby Mill Avenue District provides a vibrant mix of nightlife, dining, and local shops. For outdoor recreation, residents can enjoy Tempe Town Lake for walking, biking, kayaking, and scenic views, as well as Kiwanis Park, which offers trails, sports fields, and recreational amenities. The surrounding area also features additional parks and green spaces, making it easy to enjoy both city living and outdoor activities. The community is served by the Tempe Elementary School District for elementary and middle school and the Tempe Union High School District for high school.

Sono Tempe is conveniently located near several public transportation options, including Valley Metro bus routes, light rail service, and free neighborhood circulators. Residents have access to local and express bus routes, Orbit neighborhood circulators, and FLASH routes serving the ASU area, along with nearby light rail stations providing access to Downtown Tempe, Phoenix, Mesa, and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

Current Leases & Residency

To renew, residents can review their renewal offer, select their preferred lease term, and complete the renewal through the resident portal or by contacting the leasing office for assistance.

A 60-day notice is required before moving out.

Residents must provide written notice to vacate in accordance with their lease agreement, typically at least 60 days prior to move-out. Before vacating, all personal belongings must be removed, the home should be left clean, and keys must be returned to the leasing office. A final account statement will be provided after move-out outlining any applicable charges or refunds.

No. Subleasing is not allowed.

A written 60-day notice is required along with a lease termination fee. Please contact the leasing office for full details.
