Sono Tempe offers thoughtfully designed studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartment homes featuring modern kitchens, breakfast bars, and select upgraded finishes that make everyday living effortless. Residents can relax by the resort-inspired pool, maintain an active lifestyle in the fitness center, and enjoy beautifully maintained community spaces. Ideally situated in Tempe, you'll be minutes from Arizona State University, Downtown Tempe, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.

Homes do not include private yards; however, select homes come with a private patio or balcony. Residents can also enjoy our well-maintained community courtyards.

We offer agent-guided tours from Monday through Saturday. Schedule your tour online at your convenience or give us a call.

Applying is easy! Start by visiting our Floor Plans page and selecting a layout you love. Then, choose an available apartment home to apply online or in person through the leasing office. Our team is here to guide you through each step and ensure a smooth application process.

Applicants must provide 2 months' pay stubs, offer letters, tax statements, or bank statements as proof of income. All income documents must be uploaded as PDFs within the application. Everyone 18 years or older is required to complete an application and upload a valid government-issued ID.

Applicants must demonstrate a gross monthly income of at least 2.5 times the rent.

No. Subleasing is not permitted.

Yes. Renter’s insurance is required.

Residents will receive a renewal notice 90 days in advance. Residents can access the resident portal to review renewal options, make their selection, and sign lease documents electronically.

No. Our community does not offer affordable housing.

Yes. Sono Tempe charges an application fee, an administrative fee, and a security deposit ranging up to one month's rent or a deposit alternative.

No. While we do not provide move-in assistance services, our team is happy to offer recommendations or guidance where possible.

To break your lease, we require a 60-day notice and a lease-break fee that is equal to 2 months' rent and repayment of any move-in concession (if one was applied).

Residents are required to provide a 60-day written notice.

Residents must submit a 60-day written notice and forwarding address before move-out. Residents are responsible for shutting off utilities, fully vacating and cleaning the apartment, and returning all keys to the office.

Security deposit refunds are processed within 14 days after move-out, in accordance with your lease and state guidelines.

Security deposits range up to one month's rent or a LeaseLock fee, based on credit screening results. The required deposit amount is due at move-in.

No. Residents are billed back for utilities. Electricity on the east side is set up and paid directly to SRP.

Residents are welcome to choose their preferred internet service provider. Options include providers such as Cox and CenturyLink.

All rent is paid online through the BILT Rewards portal. You can make one-time payments or set up recurring payments for your convenience with your debit/credit card or checking account.

Additional community fees include a monthly pest control fee, valet trash fee, clubhouse amenity fee, exterior amenity fee, and fitness center amenity fee.

Open-space parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Carports are available for a monthly fee.

Yes. There is a reserved carport fee monthly.

Guests are welcome to visit Sample Property. Stays longer than 3 consecutive days require prior written approval and may not exceed 6 total days per month.

No. We do not offer EV charging stations on-site at this time.

Sono Tempe Apartments in Temoe, AZ is a pet-friendly community.

We welcome up to two pets per home with a one-time fee, a pet deposit, and a monthly fee per pet.

Max 2 allowed. For breed restrictions, please contact the leasing office.

We feature a dedicated on-site dog park, providing a convenient and welcoming space for your pets to play and enjoy the outdoors.

Sono Tempe offers a variety of amenities designed for comfort, convenience, and an active lifestyle, including a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, resident clubhouse, outdoor lounge and grilling areas, door-to-door valet trash service, pet-friendly spaces, on-site laundry facilities, covered parking, beautifully landscaped grounds, and convenient access to shopping, dining, entertainment, and major freeways in the heart of Tempe.

Our apartment homes feature spacious floor plans with modern finishes, fully equipped kitchens with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, wood-style flooring, spacious closets, ceiling fans, central air conditioning, in-home washers and dryers, and private patios or balconies, creating a comfortable and stylish place to call home. Select apartment homes include upgraded interior finishes. Some amenities are available only in specific apartments. Contact the leasing office for details.

Residents enjoy the convenience of on-site community laundry facilities, while select apartment homes also feature in-home washers and dryers for added comfort and convenience.

No. There is no designated bike storage.

Yes. All homes are high-speed cable and internet ready.

For your convenience, packages may be delivered directly to your home, our on-site parcel lockers, or a delivery location of your choosing. Please note that the leasing office is unable to accept or store packages on behalf of residents.

Yes. Sono Tempe offers 360° virtual tours, allowing prospective residents to explore the community and floor plans online before scheduling an in-person visit. The property website includes a dedicated Virtual Tour page, and several floor plans also have interactive 3D tours.

No. Furnished homes are not available. 

Sono Tempe is ideally located near some of Tempe's most popular destinations, including Arizona State University, Tempe Marketplace, Mill Avenue District, Sloan Park, Tempe Town Lake, and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Residents also enjoy convenient access to Loop 101, Loop 202, and US-60, making it easy to commute throughout the Valley. Grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, entertainment, parks, and public transportation are all just minutes from the community. For additional highlights, please visit our website. 

Sono Tempe is surrounded by everything you need for work, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Enjoy nearby favorites like Majestic Neighborhood Cinema, AMF Tempe Village Lanes, Fate Brewing, U.S. Egg, Venezia's New York Style Pizzeria, India's Flame, and The Porch. Sono Tempe is served by the Tempe Elementary School District (grades K–8) and the Tempe Union High School District (grades 9–12). School assignments are based on the property's address and may change, so we recommend confirming current attendance boundaries directly with the applicable school district.

Creating a sense of community is important to our team! We host regular resident events and offer exclusive partnerships with local businesses to enhance the community experience.

Yes. Quiet hours are observed daily from 10 PM to 6 AM in accordance with local noise ordinances.

During business hours, noise concerns can be reported to the leasing office by phone or email. After hours, reports can be directed to our courtesy patrol.

Sono Tempe is a non-smoking community.

Maintenance requests can be submitted online through the resident portal. To report maintenance emergencies, call the leasing office. 24-hour emergency maintenance is on call to assist you.

Emergency issues—such as flooding, loss of AC in extreme heat, electrical hazards, or anything affecting safety—are handled immediately, 24/7. Urgent but non-emergency concerns (like appliances not working properly) are prioritized as soon as a technician is available. Standard work orders are typically addressed within 24–48 hours, depending on the order in which requests are received.
